Pakistan's fog cannon project
In November 2024, a leading stone processing plant in Pakistan significantly enhanced its environmental and operational standards by integrating three of our 60-meter range fog cannon machines into its daily operations. Facing significant challenges with fugitive dust generated from its crushing and screening processes, the quarry identified our fog cannons as the optimal solution for effective and efficient dust mitigation.
The primary application for these three units is to suppress the substantial dust clouds produced by the primary crusher, secondary screening stations, and conveyor transfer points. These are critical dust generation zones where uncontrolled particulate matter poses health risks to workers, accelerates machinery wear, and impacts the surrounding community. Our fog cannons were strategically positioned to provide comprehensive coverage of these key areas. Their impressive 60-meter range allows for targeted dust suppression from a safe and stable distance, ensuring the entire site benefits from improved air quality without disrupting the material flow.
The client has reported a dramatic and immediate improvement since the fog cannons became operational. The high-pressure atomization system, which produces a fine mist of 50-150 micron droplets, has proven highly effective in encapsulating and weighing down dust particles, causing them to settle rapidly. This has resulted in a visibly clearer worksite and a safer, healthier environment for the workforce. The plant management has expressed strong satisfaction with the performance and reliability of the machines, particularly praising their robust construction, which is well-suited to the demanding quarry environment, and their significant contribution to the plant's sustainability goals. This successful deployment underscores our commitment to providing powerful, practical dust control solutions for the global mining and aggregates industry.
