The dry fog dust suppression project in Venezuela
In October 2024, we successfully implemented a customized dry fog dust suppression system for a major industrial client in Venezuela, specifically designed to control dust generated during their railcar unloading operations. The client faced significant challenges with airborne particulate matter at their transfer station, requiring an efficient solution that would operate effectively in their local environmental conditions.
Our engineering team conducted a comprehensive site assessment to develop a tailored solution addressing the unique spatial constraints and operational requirements of the unloading facility. The system features strategically positioned dry fog nozzles that generate 1-10 micron water droplets, effectively capturing dust particles at the source without wetting the material or affecting operational efficiency. The design incorporated corrosion-resistant materials suitable for the local climate and robust components capable of withstanding continuous operation in demanding industrial conditions.
The client has expressed complete satisfaction with the system's performance, noting a remarkable improvement in visible dust control and workplace air quality. The customized design has proven highly effective in containing dust during the unloading process while maintaining optimal moisture levels in the processed materials. Plant management particularly commended the system's energy efficiency, minimal water consumption, and seamless integration with their existing unloading operations. This project demonstrates our capability to deliver sophisticated industrial air quality solutions that meet specific regional challenges and operational requirements.
