Korean Dry Fog System Project
In August 2022, we successfully implemented a dust suppression project for a manufacturing facility in Changwon, South Korea. The client faced a significant challenge controlling harmful dust emissions generated at critical transfer points along their conveyor belt systems, posing potential health and safety risks.
To address this, our engineering team designed and installed a customized dry fog system specifically for their application. This system works by atomizing water into billions of ultra-fine droplets, comparable in size to dust particles. This creates a dense fog that effectively coalesces with and weighs down the dust, suppressing it at the source without wetting the material on the conveyor belts.
The performance of the dry fog system proved exceptionally powerful, surpassing the client's expectations for dust control efficiency. It successfully created a safer, cleaner work environment while ensuring no disruption to the production process. The client was highly satisfied with the results, which perfectly met their core requirement for effective and efficient dust management. This project has paved the way for discussions on further upgrades to their facility.
