  When the steel plant is in production, when each production is running and loaded with materials, the spray system of the dry mist dust suppression device starts spraying or sprays in advance to form a mist pool. When the dust particles move with the airflow, they will collide and contact with the water mist particles and stick together and fall. A large amount of flying fine dust is generated in the closed chute and guide trough. This spray dust suppression operation is completed by the console far away in the control room. This remote console can choose "manual" or "automatic" operation mode. In the automatic operation mode, the spray operation is automatically controlled by the programmable logic controller (PLC).

The dry mist and dust suppression system of Cangzhou Lanhai Steel Plant uses a micron-level dry mist dust suppression device, which uses the fine water mist particles below 10 microns generated by the dry mist sprayer (the mist below 10 microns in diameter is called dry mist) and the dust particles are mutually bonded, The condensation becomes larger and settles under the action of its own gravity to achieve the purpose of dust suppression. Compared with traditional dry dust removal and wet dust removal, it has the characteristics of good dust suppression effect and low operating cost. After the project is put into use, the dust suppression rate on site will reach more than 80%, and a large amount of water can be saved, which has significant economic and environmental benefits.

Introduction to the characteristics of dry mist and dust suppression system in Cangzhou Lanhai Steel Plant:

1. High dust suppression efficiency: The dust suppression efficiency is high, and the treatment effect for inhalable dust below 10 microns is as high as 95% and avoids the harm of silicosis.

2. The system uses less water: the water consumption is small, the material humidity increases by 0.02%-0.05% by weight, the material (coal) has no calorific value loss, and no secondary pollution.

3. Modular design: Small footprint, easy operation, fully automated touch screen control.

5. Low operating cost: The dry fog and dust suppression system consumes less electricity, and the operating cost is greatly reduced
